The learning app costs €80 separately and is available for categories B, A, A1 and A2 and for foreign licence conversions. It is optional and not included in the basic fee. The calculator adds it only when selected.
After a failed theory test, we charge another €80 attendance fee for the next theory test. Test organisation fees are additional. For BE, the practical test attendance fee is €220, including for a partial test.
The additional vehicle familiarisation session for €65 is booked only at your request. It does not replace any mandatory training content. Test organisation and driving licence authority fees are not included.
When obtaining categories B + A at the same time, the combined basic fee is €600 according to EkoDrive's displayed price list. We calculate combined training costs with you individually.
Understand your training
Why special driving lessons do not replace basic training.
Category B requires 12 special driving lessons, but these are not all the practical lessons you will need. Before rural road and motorway lessons are useful, you need a solid foundation to control the vehicle safely and as independently as possible.
Special driving lessons
Category B requires five rural road, four motorway and three twilight/night lessons of 45 minutes each. Different rules apply to BE and motorcycle categories.
Ready for the test
What matters is safe, independent driving, rather than aiming for the smallest possible number of lessons. That is why further practice lessons may be needed before the practical test.
